Bruce Willis- The Surrogates

Okay, this post is a day early, but so what!

I over heard some co-workers today talking about a movie that is being filmed in our city, Worcester. There are tons of trailers and tractor-trailers lining the streets just up the road from my office. I discovered that it is this movie that they are currently filming, and will be filming it until August 2008.

For those of you wondering, The Surrogates is based off a graphic novel by the same name. It looks like it will be pretty interesting, and is due out sometime in 2009. One thing that kind of irks me is that when I did a search for this movie, most sites did not include Worcester as a city being filmed in, or you could only find reference a page or two into the article.

Hey, no hard feelings though…right IMDB.com and Movieweb.com.  I’ll keep you all posted on the progress, and any “Star” sightings!

Livin’ Out Loud in Start Studded Woosta,

Al

So, Worcester has a futuristic look and feel to it?

That’s pretty neat that it’s being filmed up the street. I really like Bruce Willis, I’ll watch for updates.

    Hi Marina,
Worcester in no way has a futuristic look, but some of the building are incredible looking, especially the inside of the city hall, and court house. That was the appeal I think. These can be filmed to look spooky.

    Audra,
Thanks for checking out the story. It is pretty cool to know you have some stars in town. Who knows, matbe I’ll run into him.
